Welcome to OUPRO.gg ("we", "us", "our", or the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website and game servers.

OUPRO.gg is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike 2, Steam, and all related trademarks are the property of Valve Corporation.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Steam Account Data

When you sign in through Steam OpenID, we automatically receive and store the following data from your public Steam profile:

Steam ID (64-bit and 32-bit) — your unique Steam identifier
Display Name — your current Steam persona name
Avatar URLs — links to your Steam profile pictures (small, medium, full)
Profile URL — link to your public Steam profile

We do not receive or have access to your Steam password, email address, payment information, or private Steam account details. Authentication is handled entirely through Steam's OpenID 2.0 protocol.

1.2 Game Server Data

When you connect to our Counter-Strike 2 servers, we may collect:

In-game statistics — kills, deaths, rating, points, wins, and other gameplay metrics
Connection information — IP address, ping, connection timestamps
Player activity — maps played, time spent on servers, game mode preferences
Skin Changer preferences — weapon skins, agents, gloves, knives, music kits, stickers, and coins you select through our Skin Changer feature. The Skin Changer is a purely cosmetic, server-side feature that does not modify your Steam inventory, game files, or VAC status in any way

1.3 Balance and Transaction Data

If you use our balance top-up feature, we collect:

Real-money balance — top-up history, amounts, payment timestamps
In-game currency balance — earned and spent amounts, transaction history
Payment metadata — transaction IDs and payment status (we do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or other sensitive financial information — all payments are processed by third-party payment providers)

1.4 Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and local storage for:

Authentication tokens — to keep you signed in (JWT tokens)
Session data — redirect URLs during Steam authentication flow
Preferences — your UI settings and skin changer configurations

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

1.5 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, we may collect:

Browser type and version
Operating system
Referring URL
Pages visited and time spent
General geographic location (country/region level)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide our services — authenticate your identity, display your profile, and enable gameplay features
Skin Changer functionality — store and apply your purely cosmetic preferences across our CS2 servers. These preferences exist only within OUPRO.gg infrastructure and have no effect on your Steam account, inventory, or any Valve services
Leaderboards and statistics — display player rankings, ratings, and gameplay statistics
Server management — monitor server health, player counts, and game mode statistics
Communication — notify you of important changes to our service or your account
Balance management — process balance top-ups, track real-money and in-game currency transactions, and manage purchases of services and privileges
Security — detect and prevent abuse, cheating, and unauthorized access
Improvements — analyze usage patterns to improve our servers and website

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured servers
Authentication tokens are encrypted using industry-standard JWT signing
We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
Access to databases is restricted to authorized administrators only
Steam authentication data is transmitted directly through Valve's secure OpenID endpoint

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share data only in the following cases:

Public leaderboards — your Steam display name, avatar, rating, and game statistics are displayed publicly on our leaderboards
In-game — your Steam name and selected cosmetic items (skins, agents, etc.) are visible to other players on our servers
Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or governmental authority
Service protection — to enforce our Terms of Service, investigate violations, or protect the rights, property, and safety of OUPRO.gg and its users

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Steam (Valve Corporation)

OUPRO.gg is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. We use Steam OpenID solely for authentication purposes. When you log in, you are redirected to Steam's servers. Steam's privacy policy applies to any data processed by Valve Corporation. Please review Steam's Privacy Policy for more details.

Our use of Counter-Strike 2 game servers and the Steam authentication protocol does not imply any partnership, endorsement, or relationship with Valve Corporation.

5.2 Game Server Infrastructure

Our CS2 game servers use the Source Engine's built-in query protocol (A2S). Connection data (IP, ping) is processed as part of standard game server operations.

5.3 Payment Processors

Balance top-ups are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment credentials. The payment processor's privacy policy governs the handling of your financial data during the transaction.

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data
Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
Object — object to certain processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our website or game servers. Account deletion will permanently remove your profile, statistics, skin changer preferences, and all associated data.

Note: Some data may be retained in server logs and backups for a limited period after deletion.

7. Data Retention

Account data — retained as long as your account exists
Gameplay statistics — retained as long as your account exists
Skin Changer data — retained as long as your account exists
Server logs — retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes

When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

OUPRO.gg is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
